Represented a manufacturer of custom designed robotic systems used primarily in the auto sector in making a proposal under the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act that was accepted by its creditors.

Represented a primary secured lender-syndicate initiating an Interim Receivership of a national fruit juice distributor and concluding an immediate sale of substantially all of the debtor’s business to an arms-length third party at a purchase price in excess of $16,000,000.

Represented a private railway and its sister company, an airfreight carrier, in making successful proposals to their creditors under the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

Represented a secured creditor in successfully lifting a stay under the proposal provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and appointing an interim receiver of an automotive industry supplier. Ultimately, we concluded a court sanctioned sale of a portion of the assets of the debtor resulting in full repayment to our client.
